VOLUNTEER

Volunteering is generally considered an altruistic activity where an individual or group provides services for no financial or social gain "to benefit another person, group or organization". Volunteering is also renowned for skill development and is often intended to promote goodness or to improve human quality of life. Volunteering may have positive benefits for the volunteer as well as for the person or community served.

GA S.P.E.A.K.S., Inc. works hard to help improve our communities through many grassroots initiatives.  As we continue to build our base in Georgia and bring programs and opportunities to areas with often times the need is great, it can at times be difficult without a strong presence helping to drive our goals.  We are always in need of good, outstanding community members to aid us in our objectives.  Your help may be the X-factor to creating a better tomorrow.  Will you join us in our movement?

WHAT OTHER VOLUNTEERS SAY

"Today, not only did I volunteer to help a great organization, but they also gave me another venue to share my love of singing with the world.  This company is really helping us kids shine in a sometimes dark world."

"I enjoy helping out on every event I can.  I bugged the president so much about wanting to help that she gave me a position as a 'Community Outreach Manager'.  It let me know just how truly appreciated I was to the company."

"I was trying to lose weight and build my self-esteem.  Joining the walking club was great because it gave me an additional support system to help me reach my goals.  Thanks, everyone."
